The Lakeview FFA chapter and middle and high school ag program is super excited to see pumpkins in the school's first attempt at a pumpkin patch at the school ag farm. The middle school horticulture class was able to seed an acre of pumpkins for their final in June and we are seeing their work pay off! We will keep everyone posted as we move into fall how the pumpkins are looking!

Tonight we will be holding a Fall Sports Parent Night at 6:30pm in the LHS Gym.
A little clarification on this: this parent night is ONLY for LHS fall sports parents, not for families of students playing DMS fall sports.

Our 23/24 yearbooks have arrived and will be available for pickup at the high school during in-person registration next week, August 12-15th. Ms. Alves will be available from 9:00am until 2:00pm on these days to hand these out. You can also pre-order your 24/25 yearbook during in-person registration days. They will be $35 if you order them next week. After next week, the price will be $45.

Hello Lake County!! Big Shout-out to our Pool Lifeguards, Managers and Coaches this summer for taking such good care of our Youth. You guys work so hard at making the pool a safe, fun and clean environment for our community all summer long:-) I'm missing some Lifeguards in the photo, so more to come!
The Summer Work Crews are out and about working hard on trail maintenance and campground cleanup this summer. If you see cyber pink shirts in the woods, it's just your friendly LHS Summer Crews doing their thing :-)
Huge Shout-out to Angie Deiter and Lance McMahan from the Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union for coming to the Lakeview High School and giving a very informative presentation to our Summer Work Crews and Summer Internship Students. Their willingness to teach our students valuable life skills is priceless. Middle school horticulture planted corn and pumpkins at the school ag farm today. We are hoping to have a pumpkin patch for fall for our community!
The advanced horticulture and horticulture students worked with Mrs. Elliott's second grade students to restore their school garden. Students weeded, planted both plants and seeds, and installed a sprinkler system as part of their final project! The high school students hope to use this as a hands on learning lab with the elementary students in the future!
