COACHING POSITIONS:

HEAD DMS TRACK COACH

LCSD7 is in search of a Head Track Coach at the Daly Middle School, for the upcoming 2024-25 season . Job duties are to oversee the district's middle school Track and Field program, grades 6-8.The projected start date is ASAP. FTE 1.0.  Salary Range $3, 145 - $3,404. Open until filled. 

 Special Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate with student athletes

  • Knowledge of rules and regulations of Track and Field

  • Must be able to obtain OSAA coaching certifications

  • Must have valid First Aid / CPR certification

  • Type 20

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude in an emotionally and physically fatiguing environment

HEAD FOOTBALL COACH

LCSD7 is looking for a Head Football Coach for the 2025-26 season. Job duties are to oversee the high school Football program. Projected Start Date: August 14, 2025. Salary Range: $5,840 - $6,322. FTE 1.0. 

Special Qualifications:

  • Successful coaching experience in the sport

  • Keep current with new knowledge and innovative ideas and techniques in the sport

  • OSAA and District Eligibility requirements met

  • Experience with high school students and the sport/activity

  • The coach must hold or be able to acquire: Current First Aid and CPR/AED card

  • Other required certification: ASEP/NFHS Coaching, OSAA Concussion, OSAA Steroid & OSAA Heat Prevention

  • Background check based on completed fingerprints

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a positive learning environment and be a positive role model for the athletes

  • The chosen applicant will oversee all aspects of the high school football program  

  • Manage athlete behavior during training sessions, meets and events

  • Supervise Assistant Coaches

  • Make necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities

  • Uphold and enforce school rules, administrative regulations and School Board Policies

  • Attend all meets and events scheduled for the sport, including coaches' meetings

  • Organize and schedule practice sessions on a regular basis with the idea of developing the athlete's greatest potential

  • Apply discipline in a firm and positive manner

SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS NEEDED:

Lake County School District #7 needs substitute bus drivers. Training will begin immediately after applicant is approved. Applicant must pass a criminal history and driving history verification, take a pre-employment drug test, and is subject to US Dept of Transportation random drug testing. Substitute drivers are assigned a variety of trips including regular home-to-school routes, field trips, and out-of-town athletic trips. This is an ideal opportunity for those who are looking for or are currently working part-time or who are retired. Along with this position, training is available to obtain a school bus driving endorsement. Position is open until filled.

Route - $21.97-$26.41/ ($16.00 Layover on trips)

 Bonus:  $250 Signing; $500 after 6 months; $500 after 12 months

 District Health Insurance included.

 Special Qualifications: 

  • CDL Class A or B with Bus Endorsement 

  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests

  • Knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations of bus operations

  • Safe Motor Vehicle Driving Techniques

  • Maintain student management and control at all times
