Don't miss the Fall Harvest Festival at the school Ag Farm this Saturday and Sunday 10-4! The horticulture students grew the pumpkins and our FFA members have collaborated with lots of other student groups to create a fun filled weekend! There will be games, a petting zoo, face painting, a Photo Booth, and the culinary class has been baking up a storm with lots of delicious treats for sale including cinnamon rolls in the morning and will be grilling up hot dogs in the afternoon. The Ag Farm is located on Stock Drive, look for the signs and our new white, 3- sided barn...if you reach airport road, you've went too far! We can't wait to see everyone!

We will be sending our busses out to all bus stops for a second time this morning for all students that missed the bus the first trip. The busses will arrive in the next 35-40 minutes. Thank you!

We apologize for the confusion. The power is now back on and our busses are running. We will now only be running on a 30 MINUTE late start today, Wednesday, October 16, 2024 for all LCSD7 buildings. Thank you for your flexibility and we will see you soon!

Thank you Hadwick Family Farm for hosting Union Elementary. Everyone had a wonderful time!

Attention Students and Parents:
Please see the attached flyer for information regarding our Rotary Exchange program!

Dear Parents,
Our local Rotary Club maintains two Little Free Pantry sites in town to help people with food insecurity. The first site is on the East side of the Head Start preschool building. It faces on So. K Street, at the corner of So. 10th. The second site is near the driveway behind the Outback Assembly of God Church, facing on No. J Street, between No. 2nd and Center Streets.
Rotarians donate to the Little Free Pantries but anyone can donate or take food from the pantries. The motto for the project is: Take What You Need. Leave What You Can.

We hope you will participate in our blood drive. See the link below to sign up.

Thank you to the high school Culture Club for coming in today to present to Mrs. Young's class at Union.
The best part of studying history is it gives us an opportunity to understand and respect different cultures. It's even better when it brings high school students in to connect with the elementary students.
