The horticulture and floral design classes were very busy before Christmas break making wreaths and centerpieces while learning about evergreens and centerpiece design.

As we get ready to start a new year, Lakeview FFA was pretty busy at the end of the year with a variety of community service activities! From serving at several holiday parties in the community to participating in the Christmas parade, not only did FFA work to spread Christmas cheer but also help those in need. The community development committee was able to help one child in our community with gifts for the Tree of Joy and also delivered warm winter clothes that were collected to the Department of Human Services for those in need. Our chapter wishes you a very Happy New Year and looks forward to many great things in the year ahead!

I heard the big guy might make a visit from the North Pole. Hopefully, the Grinch behaves himself and doesn't get in the way.
Hope to see you there!
