Boys soccer tonight!! Wear your blue.

Students in Mr. Cappe's Sports Med class were able to recreate the spine using doughnuts, frosting, and string.
Looks like a yummy way to learn!

Come out to celebrate our Senior girls tomorrow night!
They have had an incredible season don't miss out on a great game and some Honker hustle!

This community is so amazing! Yesterday seniors started their job shadows. Stacy at Razor's Edge welcomed Haley to learn about waxing and nails. Today, Eli was with Tony at the Forest Service looking at timber sales. Thank you so much for helping these students and getting them excited about future careers!

Our seniors are preparing for summer jobs with the United Stated government by learning how to properly fill out an application! Grace Haskins, Steve Vansi and Rowdy Gerber gave the students information about summer jobs that are currently posted on the USAjobs website.

Students at Union Elementary want to wish you a HAPPY FALL!

The advanced horticulture class has been busy already planting some crops in the greenhouse for winter season, but have had the most fun harvesting pumpkins that they planted last spring. The pumpkins were grown with the help of a sprinkler system the students created last spring.

Horticulture has been busy learning about the characteristics of soil and how it contributes to plant growth. As a fun activity, students used edible material to create a soil profile and described the soil order and each horizon they created.

We are preparing for Homecoming next week!

She has presented to well over 30,000 students and parents across western Washington. TONIGHT October 5th, at 6pm in the LHS gymnasium. Hope to see you there!

The students at LHS/DMS have been so AMAZING so we have decided to have a pajama day.
Even better if they sport their Honker gear and PJs.
We are SO lucky to work with such a great group of kids. Thank you for sharing them with us.

Hello Families of LHS/DMS Students!
Can you believe we are already 4 1/2 weeks into the school year?!?! That means, it's progress report time!
With our new student management system, we have new features that allow us to communicate better with students and families throughout the year. This has changed the way we are sending out progress reports.
Over the course of the day today, our teachers will be sending out progress reports for students in their classes. You will receive an individual email for each of your student's classes that explains their current grade and any missing assignments they may have.
If you do not have a valid email address or do not have access to our ParentVUE portal, please call or stop by the LHS front office and we will get you connected as well as print a copy of your student's current grades. (541) 947-2287.
Have a great day!

The staff at LHS/DMS have Honker PRIDE!

The assembly will be one hour long and there will be a separate assembly for middle school students and high school students. There will also be a parent information night for parents and families to get this information as well (information will be sent home in the mail and was posted to our website earlier this week).

What's better than a good volleyball game and a baked potato bar?

Apple day fun!
The K-1 class at Union celebrated Apple Day in the best way, with an Apple party! Today was Johnny Appleseed’a birthday! Students have studied about Johnny Appleseed and his legacy, parts of an Apple, the life cycle of the Apple, and today they were able to taste test different Apple treats including: apples (green, yellow and red), apple pie fresh from the oven, apple juice, apple cider, apple sauce, and apple chips! The class graphed their favorite with the winner being apple pie!
