In our program students are required to have a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) Project where students have endless options of what to do. We try to push them out of their comfort zones and be creative as this project is something they can continue after school. These projects are all graded and part of the curriculum. Many of these projects are students running their own businesses!
Lola Simms learned how to do candle making and is learning how to sell her products through what she learned about marketing and sales in the classroom. Take a look at the website she just created. She is open for business and her candles smell wonderful!
